Hiro BLEND® - Dietary supplement Yamamoto® Nutrition Hiro BLEND® is a dietary supplement based on proteins from different sources of the highest quality and characterised by different rates of release into the blood stream and absorption. The protein sources that make up the formula include proteins isolated by cross-flow ultrafiltration and microfiltration, making this supplement suitable for athletes practising intense physical activity. In detail, the protein composition of Hiro BLEND® is as follows: 40% whey protein concentrate 30% whey protein isolate by cross-flow ultrafiltration and microfiltration; 20% protein from calcium caseinate; 5% protein from micellar casein; 5% protein from egg white. All of the protein sources present are characterised by high biological value, although each has its own particular characteristics that add up to guarantee the maintenance of a constant amino acid level over time. The benefit associated with choosing a protein blend lies in the sum of the qualities of each protein source used: different digestion and absorption times allow for a continuous and gradual release of amino acids over time. Hydrolysed whey protein will be the first to reach the blood stream, followed by whey protein isolate and concentrate, with the highest digestibility and absorption rate. The digestion times of egg proteins are intermediate between the faster whey proteins and the slower caseins; consequently, they possess excellent satiating power. Lastly, we find calcium caseinate proteins and micellar caseins, which are characterised by slow release and are able to give a long lasting sense of satiety. Hiro BLEND® has no protein sources of low biological value, such as vegetable proteins, which could alter the quality of the product. These characteristics make Hiro BLEND® a versatile product with an extended use compared to common 'fast' proteins: it can be consumed at different times of the day, allowing you to choose the correct intake time to ensure amino acid coverage. Taken as a protein shake throughout the day or at snacks, or as a protein supplement post-workout, the differentiation of protein sources enables effective muscle rebuilding and optimal muscle growth, which is better than simply taking whey protein as the sole protein source. Proteins in fact have a plastic function, i.e. they are used to build numerous parts of the body: cells, muscles, hair, nails, enzymes. In the field of sports supplementation, protein supplements play a key role in enabling athletes to achieve their protein requirements. Various scientific reference societies, such as the American College of Sports Medicine, recommend a protein intake of between 1.2 and 2g/kg bw/day for athletes, even reaching quotas of 2.2-2.5g/kg bw/day for power sport or body building athletes, as opposed to the recommended amount for healthy sedentary people (0.8g/kg bw/day). In addition, Hiro BLEND® does not contain maltodextrin, an ingredient often found in protein blends, but its formula is supplemented with vitamin B6, which is essential for supporting protein, amino acid and glycogen metabolism and normal energy metabolism. How to use: add 3 scoops (30 g) in 250-350 ml of water or other beverage of your choice and take once a day, between meals. Net content: 700 g Warnings: Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
