Omega 3 6 9

Omega-3 and Omega-6 are essential fatty acids. These fats are not sintentizzati autonomously by the body and need to be introduced with the daily diet.
The main fatty acids of the Omega-3 group are: α-linolenic acid (ALA), eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).
EPA and DHA contribute to normal cardiac function (the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA) DHA also contributes to maintenance of normal brain function and the maintenance of normal visual capacity (l ' beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA).
Omega-3s are found primarily in fish, shellfish, nuts and vegetable oils such as linseed oil and hemp. Omega-6 are: linoleic acid and arachidonic acid.
They are classified as "Omega-6" because the first double bond is present at the sixth carbon from the end omega molecule. Omega-6 are contained mainly in nuts, in spirulina and in most vegetable oils. Omega-9 are not considered essential fatty acids. Oleic acid is the most important of the Omega-9 and is mainly found in olive oil.
