4+ NUTRITION - BCAA + HARDCORE Dietary supplement
BCAA + HARDCORE is a supplement where Leucine is quadrupled compared to normal formulations.
BCAA: Branched Chain Aminoacid. That is branched chain amino acids, probably, rightly one of the most popular and used supplements.
They are three of the eight essential amino acids, which means that our body is not able to synthesize and must therefore assume from the outside.
They have a very particular characteristic that unites them, unlike the others that must necessarily be metabolized in the liver, these can be metabolized in other tissues of our body, particularly in the muscular one.
So they can be used by the muscles as an energy substrate instead of getting them from the precious muscle proteins.
They compete at the brain level with another essential amino acid, or tryptophan, thereby decreasing the synthesis of serotonin which contributes to the sensation of fatigue.
In addition, leucine certainly, but also the other two are suspected, triggers protein synthesis directly and independently of other stimuli or signals.
They are therefore particularly useful before, during and after physical activity, be it aerobic, anaerobic or mixed, long-lasting or not, since the feeling of fatigue is typical of every physical activity, especially of high intensity, as well as in reason different catabolism of muscle proteins is also consequent to any physical activity of medium or high intensity.
Leucine is an essential, branched amino acid, present in the muscles of all animals (ie fish and meat) and in milk.
It plays a stimulating role in protein synthesis and in contrasting proteolysis, of particular interest is the fact that it is a precursor of HMB.
Several studies showed a decrease in markers of muscle damage (CPK; LDH) for both endurance and strength sports.
It has not been long since Leucine was identified as the true active substance of the BCAA, it is very likely that almost everything that results on the branched amino acids can be attributed to Leucine, except for the potential energetic role (expressed by Isoleucine and Valine: glucogenetic amino acids) .
Its promoter effect on proteosynthesis is expressed in the stimulation of mTOR (central modulator in the cascade that leads to protein synthesis).
Its assumption on the occasion of intense exercise determines its fixation on a muscular level, but as the metabolism induced by rest changes, this amino acid has the liver as its preferred site.
In the liver, Leucine plays a regulatory role in protein "turnover", decreasing the production of ammonium typical of states of hepatic distress.
Although this remark does not concern sports nutrition, it should be known because Leucine also acts on the multi-organic stress given by intense training.
The dose used in the work and commonly considered effective is 100mg / kg to be taken specifically immediately before and after sport.
No damage was detected by Leucine, neither in prolonged use nor at very high doses (in the rat).
An article on clinical nutrition (therefore not related to sport) mentions 500mg / kg as the maximum tolerable dose.
+ DIRECTIONS: Take 4 tablets with water, once a day after training. + NET CONTENT: 205 grams + Store in a cool, dry place away from light.
