ALCE NERO ROOIBOS Rooibos comes from the Cederberg Region in South Africa. Rooibos, also known as redbush or African red tea, a dense bush of twigs reminiscent of broom, is an infusion made from the leaves of the homonymous plant, belonging to the legume family. Unlike other teas, Rooibos is naturally theine free. Furthermore, its tannin content is very low and this allows the drink to maintain its sweet flavor. The branches and parts of the stem are harvested from February to April, along with the small red and brown leaves. Subsequently everything is chopped into small pieces, crushed, wet with water and left to ferment from 8 to 24 hours. During the fermentation the typical fruity aroma and the typical mahogany color develops. The mixture is then dried and ready for use. The box contains 20 filters packed in single sachets. The filters, without staple, are 100% compostable. NET CONTENT: 35 g
