Thanks to its high availability, l-glutamine has multiple uses and our body often uses it according to the required need, transforming it, for example, into another amino acid, depending on the occurrence.

Under normal conditions, glutamine is synthesized by our body mainly in skeletal muscle and, to a lesser extent, in the liver, brain and lungs.

Glutamine has several functions: it helps prevent muscle catabolism, promotes the absorption of nutrients in the intestine when our body is under intense effort or is used as an alternative energy source.

Glutamine seems to have a role in delaying the sense of fatigue, promoting the synthesis of glycogen and reducing the accumulation of ammonia. Promotes muscle recovery especially in men. It also supports cellular hydration.
