Açaí is an energizing berry with a very high antioxidant Energy; grow predominantly in the Brazilian Amazon rainforest and along the Pacific Coast in Colombia. It has long been an essential part of the diet of the tribes of the Amazon. The Açaí berry is a small, round, dark purple, almost black fruit, similar to a grape, but smaller and with less pulp; it grows in branched clusters composed of 500 to 900 fruits. As soon as it is harvested, it is immediately brought to a very low temperature, in order to dehydrate it and preserve all its nutritional properties.
 
WHAT IT'S FOR: it has been shown that the Açaí berry has powerful antioxidant properties thanks to a high level of polyphenols, phytosterols and anthocyanins, the latter are antioxidant pigments that are also found in red wine, but in much lower quantities. The ORAC, antioxidant Energy, of Açaí is among the highest ever (102,700 µmoi TE / 100 g), 22 times that contained in blueberries *.
Anthocyanins and phytosterols are known to help reduce cholesterol, to be anti-aging, to reduce capillary fragility and to fight water retention. Açaí berries also have anti-inflammatory properties.

DIRECTIONS: you can add 1 to 3 tablespoons of Açaí powder to your favorite juice, to fresh water, to a smoothie, to yogurt or to your vinegraitte to make your vegetables original and super antioxidant. To preserve the characteristics of the product, it is advisable not to add it to drinks or hot dishes.
