BIO'S BOCCONCINI WITH ONION FROM ANCIENT GRAINS OF ROMAGNA
The ancient wheat flour of Romagna selection 1 is produced from a mixture of local organic grains, self-produced. They are grains that have not undergone genetic alterations and therefore maintain their original characteristics unaltered. The varieties are: Rieti, Gentilrosso, Inallettabile, Frassineto, Verna, Marzotto, Abbondanza, Mec, Centauro, Belvedere, all gathered in an area of 500 hectares in the territories between Sogliano and Mercato Saraceno, in the Romagna Apennines, which later becomes Tuscan. The direct contact with the 15 farmers involved and with the mill, guarantees a short chain and entirely controlled, from the field to storage, grinding, up to bagging. The flours of ancient grains of Romagna have a low quantity of gluten, and are more digestible and well tolerated by the body.
