Vitamin C 1000 timed release of Jamieson is a slow-release vitamin C supplement with a bioflavonoid complex. Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that performs multiple functions in our body and is useful for the normal function of the immune system. Our body is not able to produce vitamin C nor can it store it for a long time. Although there is a pool of vitamin C in our body, there is a constant turnover of it and any quantity taken beyond the immediate requirement is excreted. Therefore continuous daily consumption of vitamin C is required.

Vitamin C 1000 timed release of Jamieson has a special formulation in which ascorbic acid is microencapsulated; this allows vitamin C to be gradually released to small amounts in 6-8 hours, so as to keep cells and tissues saturated for a longer period. As vitamin C is used in metabolic processes, the capsule releases a greater amount of vitamin C to re-saturate the tissues.

Vitamin C 1000 timed release of Jamieson contains the bioflavonoids rutin and hesperidin and a complex of bioflavonoids from lemon; it also contains acerola and canine rose extract, excellent sources of vitamin C and bioflavonoids with marked antioxidant properties and which favor capillary resistance. The intake of bioflavonoids associated with vitamin C increases the bioavailability of the latter and enhances its effects.
One tablet of Jamieson Vitamin C 1000 timed release provides 1000 mg of vitamin C. The product contains no dyes.

DIRECTIONS: swallow 1 tablet daily, preferably after lunch.
