Soy isoflavones Isoflavones extracted from soybeans are substances that have a structure similar to estrogen. These compounds, known as phytoestrogens (natural plant estrogens), have an affinity for estrogen receptors, mainly those with low potency. Phytoestrogens occur naturally in the form of inactive precursors (represented in particular by Genistina and Daidzina). Once they reach the intestine, they undergo transformations, by the bacterial flora, into active compounds (Genistein, Daidzein and Equolo).
Lactic ferments Lactobacillus sporogenes (Bacillus coagulanslMG S-24828) is a lactic ferment which in its sporified form is resistant and stable in normal environmental conditions and therefore does not require refrigeration. It resists gastric and intestinal juices and vitally reaches the distal part of the small intestine and the large intestine, where it germinates. In particular, Lactobacillus sporogenes produces glycosidase, an enzyme that breaks down the glucosidic bond of soy isoflavones and releases Genistein, Daidzein and its metabolite Equol, promoting their absorption.
Magnolia Magnolia extract is obtained from the bark of Magnolia officinalis, a tree belonging to the Magnoliaceae family. The bark contains two phenolic compounds which are Magnolol and Honokiol which interact with the GABA A receptor and with the hormone cortisol.
Calcium, Magnesium and Vitamin D3 Calcium, Magnesium and Vitamin D3 contribute to the maintenance of normal bones. Calcium also contributes to normal neurotransmission by regulating the functioning of nerves and muscles and contributes to normal energy metabolism by participating in the metabolic processes involved in energy production. The Calcium of Estromineral Serena supplements the Calcium of the diet to compensate for the increase in its requirement during menopause. Estromineral Serena also provides Vitamin D3 which contributes to the normal absorption and utilization of Calcium. Magnesium is also involved in numerous regulatory mechanisms at the nervous and muscular levels.
DIRECTIONS: one tablet a day, away from meals.
