Maltonam is a product designed for those who practice sports based on simple and complex carbohydrates, useful for an extra energy intake, with carnitine, phenylalanine, vitamin C, which helps support immune defenses during intense exercise, and group vitamins B, essential for the proper functioning of the body's energy metabolism.

Before and during a race or a workout, taking MaltoNam guarantees a rapid and constant supply of energy.

Carbohydrates are the main energy source to supply during endurance activities. With the same amount of oxygen consumed, glucose (deriving from the demolition of carbohydrates) is in fact able to produce a greater amount of energy (ATP) than fat.
The intake of carbohydrates through food, during an effort, would require too long digestion times, subtracting energy from other physiological processes. Therefore, the need arises to take carbohydrates in the form of food supplements (maltodextrin).

Maltodextrins are polymers deriving from the hydrolysis process of starches (cornstarch is usually used). Maltodextrins, soluble in water, have a pleasant taste and are easy to digest.
Dextrose-Equivalence (DE) gives the athlete an estimate of the complexity of the various maltodextrins. This scale can range from a minimum of 4-6 to a maximum of 36-39. The higher this value is, the shorter the polysaccharide chains are and the faster the absorption and utilization methods will be.

MaltoNam offers an excellent compromise. In fact, it is composed of maltodextrins with different DE: 50% DE 19, 50% DE 10:

1. medium-low carbohydrates DE: useful in endurance and endurance sports, to supply the athlete with energy gradually and continuously over time.
2. high ED carbohydrates useful in the sprint phase or in the post-work-out phase, to increase the insulin anabolic effect thanks to a rapid absorption and immediate availability.
