What is Olio di Enotera?

Olio di Enotera is an Evening Primrose oil supplement that contains 68% linoleic acid and 10% GLA (gamma-linolenic acid), which are two omega-6 fatty acids, defined essential as they cannot be produced by the body and must be obtained through the diet.
It is extracted by cold pressing the seeds of the Oenothera biennis plant so as to preserve intact the natural characteristics of the polyunsaturated fatty acids.
Vitamin E, a natural antioxidant that also helps preserve the integrity of the acids contained in the oil, is then added.


Use and mechanism of action

Evening primrose oil is an excellent remedy for ensuring the structure and elasticity of cell membranes. Use of this beneficial oil also alleviates the discomfort and problems associated with skin irritations.

If you’re a young woman and suffer from premenstrual syndrome, it is worth knowing that some studies have shown that GLA helps reduce the swelling and breast pain associated with cyclical mastalgia and mastodynia. Olio di Enotera is more suitable for mature women.


RECOMMENDATION: 2-3 gel caps daily, with a large glass of water.
