Intestinal regularity is considered the best indicator of good health.
Almost all intestinal complaints (constipation, bloating, diarrhoea, meteorism, flatulence) are due to compromised functions of the mucosa that covers the internal walls, and to an abnormal balance of intestinal bacterial flora.
If bowel movements are irregular it is important to integrate the diet with fibre, but the right type must be chosen. Water-soluble fibre helps restore intestinal regularity without irritating the mucosa in the case of both slow and accelerated transit time.
Actifibra is the gentlest choice for irritable bowels, since it contains:
- Short-chain fructooligosaccharides, known as bifidogenic fibre. This soluble plant fibre is able to assist intestinal transit with a bifidogenic effect, which promotes the development and establishes the balance of intestinal bacterial flora.
- Acacia Fibre. A fibre that absorbs large quantities of liquid and forms a mass which is able to stimulate intestinal peristalsis. Furthermore, the high quantity of liquid absorbed helps to soften the faeces.
- Fennel Seed extract, which reduces fermentation, contrasting the formation of gas in the abdomen caused by a high intake of fibre, which causes abdominal bloating, tension and pain.
The ingredients of Actifibra are the most suitable for promoting bowel regularity without abdominal bloating.
RECOMMENDATION: Take one sachet a day directly or mixed will water, fruit juice or yogurt.
