Kombu has a very mild flavor and a thick, meaty texture.
It is rich in protein, fiber, B vitamins, vitamin C and minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus and iodine.
They promote the reduction of water retention, detoxification and protect the stomach from acidity. They are unique allies against cholesterol and for the well-being of the immune system.
These algae come from Spain, precisely from the region of Galicia, an Iberian coast with a centuries-old maritime tradition that boasts a unique abundance and variety of marine species.
DIRECTIONS: it should be boiled for 10-15 minutes in water with a little Salt before use. It can be used to dress rice, stews, soups, croquettes or sandwiches. They can be lightly roasted in the oven, in order to strengthen their flavor, and then pound them in a mortar to obtain a delicious sauce.
