It is claimed that the majority of the population has a magnesium deficiency, for a number of reasons ranging from an improper and unbalanced diet due to eating fewer and fewer fruits and vegetables and an increased amount of processed foods such as dairy products, flours and sugars that do not contain magnesium and indeed, extract it from the body during the digestive process. The soil in which produce is grown has become greatly magnesium depleted due to intensive cultivation and the use of pesticides, thus rendering fruits and vegetables much poorer in this precious mineral.
Those who use diuretics and laxatives may be lacking in magnesium, just like athletes may have a deficiency as a result of intense electrolyte depletion due to sweating. It is also common for the elderly to be lacking in magnesium. Magnesium glycinate is a form of magnesium in which the mineral is linked to an organic compound (a glycine molecule), allowing the mineral to have an increased absorption capacity in the intestine and therefore creating greater bioavailability, with less probability of favouring unpleasant diarrheal phenomena, thus being a form of magnesium that can be safely consumed to reverse long-term deficiency.
Directions: add 1 sachet (3.5 g) in 180 ml of water, mix accurately and take once a day.

This is a great magnesium supplement.
I workout daily and this definitely help to reduce muscle cramping that I was often having before.
