Yamamoto Research - Melagrana - IAFSTORE.COM
The pomegranate (or rather pomegranate) is the fruit of the Punica granatum, a plant cultivated in Mediterranean areas, India, Iran and the Caucasus. The kernels of this fruit are characterised by a very sweet flavour and distinctive shape. They are not only good: they also provide numerous benefits. Pomegranates contain large quantities of antioxidants, vitamin C and provitamin A, as well as polyphenols, which are useful in combating oxidative stress.
In ancient times, this fruit was used to soothe heartburn, but also as a mild aphrodisiac. The substances it contains can provide numerous benefits, and are recognised as having antioxidant, anticoagulant, vasoprotective and astringent properties. Because of these properties, concentrated pomegranate juice is used in the manufacture of various supplements, mainly for antioxidant and refreshing purposes.

What is Melagrana

Melagrana is a dietary supplement containing pomegranate juice, which is important for its antioxidant activity. In addition, **zinc contributes to the normal metabolism of macronutrients, particularly carbohydrates and fatty acids.

Pomegranate is a drink with a very distinctive, pleasant and refreshing flavour derived from the mechanical pressing of the kernels characterising this beautiful fruit, which is often regarded as a true 'èlisir' of youth for our health. The beneficial effects derived from consuming pomegranate are linked to the presence in its composition of a high concentration of substances with high antioxidant power such as flavonoids, anthocyanins, polyphenols and tannins. Powerful representatives of all these molecules are ellagic acid (a natural phenolic antioxidant with proven efficacy) and punicic acid (a polyunsaturated fatty acid with high therapeutic potential), as well as vitamins C, A, E, iron and potassium.
