IAF NETWORK CERTIFY THE QUALITY WITH HACCP SELF-CONTROL SYSTEMS

Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, or HACCP, is a systematic preventive approach to food safety from biological, chemical, and physical hazards in production processes that can cause the finished product to be unsafe and designs measures to reduce these risks to a safe level. These are the 7 HACCP principles:

  1. Conduct a hazard analysis Plan to determine the food safety hazards and identify the preventive measures the plan can apply to control these hazards. A food safety hazard is any biological, chemical, or physical property that may cause a food to be unsafe for human consumption.
  2. Identify critical control points A critical control point (CCP) is a point, step, or procedure in a food manufacturing process at which control can be applied and, as a result, a food safety hazard can be prevented, eliminated, or reduced to an acceptable level.
  3. Establish critical limits for each critical control point A critical limit is the maximum or minimum value to which a physical, biological, or chemical hazard must be controlled at a critical control point to prevent, eliminate, or reduce that hazard to an acceptable level.
  4. Establish critical control point monitoring requirements Monitoring activities are necessary to ensure that the process is under control at each critical control point. In the United States, the FSIS requires that each monitoring procedure and its frequency be listed in the HACCP plan.
  5. Establish corrective actions These are actions to be taken when monitoring indicates a deviation from an established critical limit. The final rule requires a plant's HACCP plan to identify the corrective actions to be taken if a critical limit is not met. Corrective actions are intended to ensure that no product is injurious to health or otherwise adulterated as a result if the deviation enters commerce.
  6. Establish procedures for ensuring the HACCP system is working as intended
  7. Establish record keeping procedures
Yamamoto® Nutrition, follows strict quality control protocols for the entire production chain, with self-checking mechanisms at every stage, from the producer to the final consumer.
Yamamoto® Nutrition only uses Accredia certified agencies and laboratories.

Under the terms of European Regulation 765/2008, Accredia is the sole national accreditation association designated by the Italian government to certify the competence, independence and impartiality of certification, inspection and verification agencies, and of testing and calibration laboratories.

Accredia is a recognised non-profit organisation, operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Economic Development.

The brand is distributed in over 34 countries worldwide, and it is therefore essential to have legally recognised and validated health and certification procedures, both for the purposes of export and to guarantee the reliability and legality of the company's products to all its partners.

Using sampling control systems IAF NETWORK S.p.A. constantly checks the incoming products that comply with the current regulations, respect the declarations on the label, and do not contain any prohibited substances.

Attached are some examples of products analyzed both from the point of view of compliance with WADA regulations, both in terms of health and content security.

IAF NETWORK CERTIFY THE QUALITY WITH 5 STARS IFOS

Yamamoto® Nutrition OmegaPRO

Yamamoto® Nutrition OmegaPRO is a dietary supplement with concentrated fish oil suitable for adults and rich in Omega-3 fatty acids 5-star IFOS certification. It consists of purified and concentrated triglyceride fish oil.
The most well-known Quality Certification is the IFOS (International Fish Oil Standards) brand. IFOS is the abbreviation of International Fish Oil Standards. IFOS is essentially an analytical protocol released by an independent authority (Nutrasource Diagnostic Inc.) based at the University of Guelph in Canada, which has the most expensive and advanced technologies to test the quality of Omega 3.
Based on the results of the analysis, IFOS assigns a quality score to Omega 3 and publishes in its database (consumer reports) the results of the tests carried out in its laboratories.
To date hundreds of Omega 3 dietary supplements are available on the market, but very few have IFOS certification. IFOS certification is therefore synonymous with absolute quality, at the top most level of the category. Every single person can check in the International Fish Oil Standards database whether or not there is the supplement brand that interests us, and especially if there is the batch of omega 3 packaging lot we are about to buy. If the Omega 3 Lot in question is present in the IFOS site database, we are sure that we have purchased a pure, uncontaminated supplement, without any risk to our health.

Yamamoto® Research Wild Caught Advanced Omega

Yamamoto® Research Wild Caught Advanced Omega is a food supplement based on concentrated and purified fish oil, 100% from fishing and IFOS™ (International Fish Oil Standards) certified high in omega-3 fatty acids. EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart* (the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA). Moreover, DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and physiological vision** (the beneficial effects are obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA).
Our Advanced Omega uses "100% wild caught" fish oil in ultra-purified form in the form of triglycerides. It comes in the same structure and chemical composition as found naturally in fish oil. From a technical point of view it is possible to produce Omega 3 concentrates that are in their natural TG form but an extra step is required which obviously increases the costs from 50% to 80% compared to Ethyl-Esters. Several products that have opted for the "wild caught" added value use a 50% concentration serving for example, Advanced Omega contains 100% wild caught fish oil.

IAF NETWORK CERTIFIES QUALITY WITH THE INFORMED SPORT PROGRAM

Informed sport is a globally recognised certification programme for quality sports nutrition and supplementation products. All products carrying the Informed-Sport logo are tested by LGC, an acclaimed international anti-doping research and control laboratory, to ensure they are free from over 250 sports banned substances. This laboratory, which has been operating for more than 50 years, analyses a wide range of formulations using specific and accurate tests to exclude the presence of prohibited substances even in the nanogram range. These include the absence of:

  • anabolic agents
  • stimulants
  • beta-2-agonists
  • masking agents
  • all substances whose use has been prohibited by WADA (World Anti Doping Agency)

IAF Network has worked hard to achieve this important certification: a growing commitment to guarantee consumers high safety and quality formulations.
