A very important 360° support action for our body is to provide an adequate supply of essential amino acids. Of the 22 amino acids (according to Sherman) that the body uses to make proteins, eight of them are classified as "essential" because our body is unable to produce them. Compared to the other 14, we must obtain the other 8 amino essential acids from food or supplement sources.

If our organism has the eight essential amino acids in the required quantities (the sportsman has a sure and confirmed greater need) and in the right proportion, he can then produce the remaining 14 non-essential acids by itself.

Essential amino acids are just this: essential. Defined as such because our body cannot produce them on its own, and they are crucial to stimulate protein synthesis at all levels.

It's easy to understand how much a role essential amino acids play for the athlete (and not only), precisely because we are trying to stimulate muscle growth to recover faster from exercise, to be more resistant to fatigue during frequent grueling workouts to which fighters, cross-fitters, triathletes, cyclists or soldiers undergo. They often risk overtraining and tend to consume their precious muscle tissue. Essential amino acids step in as an excellent help to buffer these frequent problems.

In addition to the "magnificent 8" essentials, we have included Sustamine®, the alanyl-l-glutamine dipeptide characterized by a very great solubility and higher stability than its less soluble free form (L-Glutamine), rapidly degraded into ammonium.
Sustamine®, being in a dipeptide form, is more easily absorbed, being favored by specific-selective carriers (PEPT1) and by lower energy expenditure, guaranteeing a higher bioavailability.

* It is recommended to take one serving/portion in water or drink as a specific support for the training session, 30 minutes before and just after the exercise, with the possibility, in certain cases (based on the nutritional regimen, the protein intake, and physical activity intensity) to take it 20 minutes before, or 1-2 hours after the main meals.
