Magnesium is a particularly important mineral for our bodies, involved in more than 300 cellular reactions. It is essential for energy metabolism, and its field of action includes in particular the nervous system and the muscular system, favouring the transmission of neuromuscular stimuli. Magnesium ions interact mainly with polyphosphate compounds (such as ATP, the main source of energy in cells) and are involved in regulating the excitability of nerve and muscle membranes and the transmission of synapses. It is a mineral particularly used by sportsmen and women, as it is able to intervene in the regulation of communication between neurons and muscle cells, in the physiological functioning of the cardiovascular system, the regularity of the heartbeat and blood pressure, as well as preventing the onset of cramps or supporting the immune and bone systems. What is Magnesium Liquid? Magnesium Liquid is a food supplement containing magnesium in the form of pidolate and chloride in liquid form, particularly suitable for sportsmen and women who need a contribution to maintaining electrolyte balance and normal muscle function. The formula is supplemented with vitamin B6. The salification of magnesium with pidolic acid is chosen to improve absorption of the mineral at both cellular and intestinal level, and this form is also more tolerable in the gastrointestinal tract. In general, the pidolate and chloride forms are better absorbed than the inorganic forms. In several clinical studies, magnesium supplementation has been shown to be useful in improving depressive symptoms, while in other studies, magnesium supplementation has been shown to be effective in alleviating chronic fatigue. Mg stimulates the production of serotonin and nerve function, and supports impulse transmission. It is also recommended during premenstrual syndrome, where magnesium levels are physiologically lowered. In addition, its relevance in the energy field makes it particularly important in sport: by interacting between the electrical stimulus of the nervous system and the mechanical response of the muscle fibrocell, it intervenes in the regulation of muscle contraction. During sporting activity, particularly endurance sport, it improves performance by increasing energy levels and resistance to effort, and decreasing the production of lactic acid. A deficiency is therefore dangerous, as it could lead to cramps and reduced recovery capacity. Benefits of our supplement Why choose Magnesium Liquid? Increases resistance to fatigue; Prevents the onset of muscle cramps; Improves mood and cognitive functions; Promotes nerve impulse transmission; Regulates muscle contraction; Increases the amount of energy available to the body. When and how to take it We recommend taking 1 ampoule a day, either pure or diluted in a glass of water, after shaking. It can be used either on an empty or full stomach, depending on individual needs. SCIENTIFIC REFERENCES de Baaij JH, Hoenderop JG, Bindels RJ. Magnesium in man: implications for health and disease.
