What is Biopan Fermented Grain? Biopan Fermented Grain is an enzyme powder and a natural by-product of the Vitapan Plus bevanda di pane, or bread drink, (see product description) production process, which involves the controlled, lactic fermentation of wholemeal, organic bread made with wheat flour, rye, oats, sourdough, water and salt. The powder is obtained by sprouting the grains through a heat treatment and fermenting with lactic acid, and is therefore completely natural, beige in colour and enzyme-rich. Use and mechanism of action The fermentation and acidification of grains releases the various nutrients contained therein and lactic acid is formed. These substances play an important role in our body. Suggested use: Biopan powder is easy and pleasant to use. Two teaspoons daily, sprinkled on soups and salads or added to sauces and meals give a slightly acidic and pungent flavour.
