Vitamin k2 is a supplement of Vitamin K2 chemically defined menaquinone, it is a lipophilic vitamin produced by bacterial fermentation.

The patented formulation MenaQ7, present in vitamin k2 Terranova is the biologically most active form of long side isoprene chain menaquinone.

At a physiological level, Vitamin K plays a role in blood coagulation thanks to its redox action, in fact 8 plasma Protein all dependent on Vitamin K come into play in the coagulation cascade. It is

useful to supplement Vitamin K2 in case of blood loss.

Vitamin K is extremely important in the control of bone problems, to be associated with Vitamin D3, as it allows the activation of a protein, Osteocalcin, synthesized by osteoblasts, which plays a fundamental role in fixing calcium to the bone.

Vitamin K2 is also useful for cardiovascular well-being, as it reduces bone calcifications that produce arterial sclerosis.
