Yamamoto® Nutrition Glycogen Cluster Dextrin™ is a food supplement with highly branched cyclic dextrin, coconut water, potassium, flavonoids and magnesium. Use for intense and/or prolonged workouts, which are demanding for muscles and reduce glycogen in the muscle stores, and cause intense sweating. Highly branched cyclic dextrin is a highly water soluble carbohydrate, which is metabolized by the human body. After intense and / or prolonged workouts, with muscle fatigue and depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscles, metabolized carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function, i.e. contraction (see Directions). The most demanding athlete knows well the value of an effective food supplement combined with their daily meticulous food intake and in recent times, nutrition and supplements aimed at "periworkout", that is before, during and after performance, have become one of the hottest topics. The "critical" moment for your preparation for the performance and subsequent recovery. In this regard, "intraworkout" drinks have become increasingly more important and more used. Cyclodextrins are now the most innovative form of carbohydrates to be taken during and / or after training, special glucose polymers that are derived from the reaction between amylopectin and a specific enzyme, forming a glucose polymer with a special cyclic structure that has exceptional use characteristics, an average molecular weight of 160,000 Da, very low osmolarity that favours very rapid gastric emptying and equally rapid absorption by the intestine which then gradually releases "ready to use" energy, all to the advantage of athletes who seek true performance support that aids the most efficient recovery. Cyclodextrins are the new generation carbohydrates that are more soluble and more rapidly absorbed than any other source, such as maltodextrin and dextrose. They have the added advantage of supplying more constant energy support over time, without spikes and the related "glycemic" crashes and without excessively raising insulin levels. This issue together with the limits resulting from gastrointestinal disorders have often been a great limiting factor in the use of carbohydrates during training. This is no longer the case today, thanks to all these characteristics, any athlete who is involved in particularly intense training, lasting a substantial period of time, will benefit from cyclodextrins, which were specifically created to sustain prolonged energy release, more constant blood sugar levels, with no disorders such as swelling, flatulence, nausea or osmotic diarrhoea. When used as a post-workout supplement, cyclodextrins are precious elements that quickly restore the glycogen used for faster recovery. Yamamoto® is always looking for innovative elements with proven effectiveness and, in Glycogen, we have found something new and interesting that can be added to cyclodextrins, namely WATTS'UP®, a flavonoid derived from sweet orange. WATTS'UP® is coming to the fore for its triple action that can be appreciated in all types of sports, from strength to endurance, thanks to its ability to make the action of the mitochondria, "our cellular power plant" more efficient, generating more ATPs at constant oxygen levels. Its concentrated mineral salt content, including magnesium, potassium and calcium, aids maximum body hydration during physical activity and supports the body in times of intense effort and sweating without causing any gastrointestinal discomfort. To further support the best possible hydration for the body, counteract fatigue resulting from excessive fluid loss and the onset of cramps, Glycogen also contains potassium, magnesium, and sodium chloride citrates. Glycogen Cluster Dextrin™ is an intraworkout drink that is greatly effective in supporting performance lasting for medium and long periods of time.
