YAMAMOTO® NUTRITION
Yamamoto® Nutrition Joint SUPPORT

Joint SUPPORT is a food supplement of glucosamine, MSM, hyaluronic acid and plant extracts, suitable for adult sportsmen who practice intense physical activities. JOINT SUPPORT is indicated in those cases where it is necessary to support joint function (Curcuma, Boswellia) and to contrast localized states of tension (Boswellia).

Healthy and efficient joints mean functionality, smooth movement and flexibility. The joints are essential elements for the movement of any athlete and need supportive protection due to the stress induced by intense physical activity with continuous and repeated stresses. Age also has a further impact on the joints, causing wear of the cartilage, which can lead to recurrent inflammation, arthritis, decreased mobility that will affect training and performance.

Our performance depends on the ability of our body, our muscles, to move quickly and efficiently and joint health can make the difference to a satisfying workout, progression to results as well as between leaving a competition or ... win it. And the first factor for the athlete is being able to train, so taking care of the joints means maintaining flexibility, decreasing joint inflammation and stiffness, supporting connective tissue and bone matrix, promoting healthy synovial fluid with an ad hoc lubricated joint. .

We can provide help through specific supplements formulated with really effective elements that act on these fronts, such as Joint Support in its most recent version.Joint Support is a food supplement to support joint function based on: glucosamine, MSM, Turmeric and Boswellia both in high absorption versions for real effectiveness, and hyaluronic acid.

Glucosamine is an amino sugar that occurs naturally in the connective tissues that surround and cushion the joint, including cartilage, tendons and ligaments, as well as the synovial fluid that lubricates the joints. Its main action concerns its activity of strengthening the joints and helping to preserve the structure and degree of elasticity of the cartilage.

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a stable, rich and natural source of organic sulfur that tends to decline considerably with aging. Methylsulfonylmethane is a highly assimilable micronutrient by our body, as a precious source of organic sulfur that we know to be found in various sulfuric components of our body, so much so that it ranks third among the most important minerals in the body. Organic sulfur is a "biologically active" compound that plays a decisive role in various components and mechanisms of the human body, is part of the composition of different amino acids, is a fundamental element in the constitution of joint cartilage and connective tissues such as the dermis of the skin.

Speaking of inflammation, turmeric, as a popular food spice derived from the tradition of Ayurvedic medicine, is today not only considered a true "superfood. Curcumin among these is more associated with the anti-inflammatory action of joint tissues, promoting support and flexibility, in reducing articular destructive oxidative stress, in acting against COX-2, MMP and "AGE" (end products of advanced glycation). Curcumin promotes the synthesis of collagen and other structural joint Protein, simultaneously protecting from enzymes that alter or "wear out" the structure of the joints, improving joint stiffness and comfort, thereby relieving joint pain.
Unfortunately, turmeric as a spice has a poor bioavailability, so to optimize its benefits, it was included in the Curcugreen ™ BCM-95® version, which through a particular extraction process was taken and mixed the group of curcuminoids present in the root with the essential oils including (RI) -turmerone by optimizing their bioactive Energy and allowing a unique absorption and synergy of action that has shown an extraordinary bioavailability from 7 to 9 times higher than that of the most common turmeric extracts at 95% standardization .
Curcugreen ™ BCM-95®, is one of the most studied and recognized versions of turmeric in the international literature and uses a dossier of over 50 clinical studies and 15-year quality-safety control monitoring.

In favor of a powerful and effective anti-inflammatory action on the joints, Joint Support boasts in its formulation the presence of Boswellia, a botanical species of the incense family, widespread in Africa, in particular in the Arabian Peninsula and in India where its medical use was well recognized by the Ayurvedic tradition. Boswellia, thanks to the precious gummersins that are extracted, rich in boswellic acids, tetracyclic acids and polysaccharides, is finding a great diffusion also in the modern - western world in sports supplements. The mechanism of action concerns in this case the action on the 5-lipoxygenase enzyme as an active agent responsible for the production of substances that facilitate inflammatory processes, as well as being able to inhibit elastases, highly destructive enzymes, which attack and deteriorate the elastic part of the tissues in which an inflammatory process is underway. Joint Support to ensure maximum yield from this additional element, contains BosLiQ®, a patent in which the extract present is highly bioavailable, characterized by the presence of oleananic, ursanic and ursanic lipophilic pentacyclic triterpene acids and their esters and by the presence of high quantities of AKBA, of volatile compounds with bioactive properties (incensol, incensol acetate) which results in a powerful anti-inflammatory and contrasting response to painful processes, in favor of effective joint protection with an interesting scientific literature to support it. that attack and deteriorate the elastic part of the tissues in which an inflammatory process is in progress. And if we talk about preventive support or recovery for the joints, in the synergy of the elements that make up Joint Support, hyaluronic acid could not be missing, a glycosaminoglycan naturally present in the connective tissue of joints, in the skin and in high concentration in the synovial fluid, consisting of the aggregation of disaccharide units formed by residues of glucuronic acid and N-acetylglucosamine. During joint inflammation, it is good to know that the structure of hyaluronic acid is attacked by pro-inflammatory elements (called with "hyaluronidase activity"), thus losing its structural characteristics and its important lubricating function. The intake of hyaluronic acid of the correct (high in this case) molecular weight becomes important, as it is able to enclose water molecules and promote the restoration of the viscosity of the synovial fluid at the level of the joints, obtaining a better effect on mobility by acting as an effective lubricating agent. At the level of the cartilage, hyaluronic acid binds to proteoglycans, forming large aggregates, which support the stability of the cartilage itself.
