Yamamoto® Research Collagene Idrolizzato Verisol® is a food supplement for adults. The product provides 2500 mg of Verisol® brand hydrolysed collagen, hyaluronic acid and vitamin C, which contribute to the regular biosynthesis of collagen for normal skin function.
Collagen is one of the most important proteins in the body, accounting for around one third of the total protides; it is also the main constituent of connective tissue (80%), i.e. the tissue that makes up skin, muscles, hair, nails and cartilage. Of the total, as much as 40% of collagen is contained in the skin, where it provides elasticity and firmness. When the concentration of collagen decreases, the skin naturally tends to gradually lose its elasticity and tone, as the tissue loosens causing 'sagging', with the formation of wrinkles or an increase in their depth. As a result, the skin becomes dehydrated, loses radiance and instead gains dullness and flaccidity. It is therefore essential, in order to avoid this, to maintain sufficient levels of collagen to ensure its presence in the body, given its essential role in maintaining good health and appearance.

Yamamoto® Research's Collagene Idrolizzato Verisol® contains Verisol® peptide collagen, a hydrolysate based on highly bioavailable type I collagen bioactives, which can help stimulate the biosynthesis of new collagen and increase the percentage of elastin in the skin. Verisol® is a proprietary blend derived from a highly controlled enzymatic hydrolysis production process. This results in a peptide mixture that is extremely water-soluble, highly absorbent and resistant to high pH and temperatures. As a result of this production process, there is a significant increase in collagen production in the extracellular matrix of the dermis, making up for possible losses due to ageing and external factors.
