Fermented papaya has been known and used for many years in Japan, but has recently been publicised and introduced in Europe by Luc Montagnier, a virologist who won the Nobel Prize for Medicine for his discovery of the AIDS virus. The papaya is a small 3-10 metre tree of the Caricaceae family, native to Central America and widespread in all sub-tropical regions. Its small pear-shaped fruits have a flesh similar to that of a melon. It is sweet, juicy, refreshing and rich in vitamins (beta-carotene, vitamin C, vitamin E and traces of B vitamins), bioflavonoids, mineral salts, trace elements (calcium, iron, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, copper, selenium, zinc), amino acids (lysine, histidine, threonine, phenylalanine, tryptophan, etc.) and natural enzymes. .), and natural enzymes (including the well-known papain and papaya peptidase), papaya is appreciated worldwide. In detail, vitamins C and E are known for their antiradical and antioxidant activity, as are the bioflavonoids. Trace elements are essential building blocks in humans, as they are needed in several vital reactions in the body (they function as cofactors), while amino acids are the basic constituents of proteins and are therefore indispensable for normal growth and development of the body. Papain is a proteolytic enzyme, similar to human pepsin (therefore useful for digesting food protein), as is papaya peptidase, also involved in protein metabolism and digestion. They are therefore useful in the presence of hypochlorhydria and dyspepsia in general, as they can aid digestion, especially at gastric level. Fermented papaya is obtained from ripe but still green fruit, because it is at this stage of ripening that papaya develops the maximum of its active principles and enzymes (such as papain and papaya-peptidase). Fermented papaya is a supplement prepared using only the pulp of this fruit, which is pulverised to obtain the natural extract with antioxidant properties. These production processes are useful for obtaining the entirety and maximum quality of the active principles obtainable from the plant. Directions: put the content of 2 stick in 200ml of water and take once a day.
