YAMAMOTO® RESEARCH
Yamamoto® Research  Recolasi - Food supplement of olive extract and bergamot extract.

In recent decades, Nutraceutics has been developing and bringing to light a great deal of scientific evidence and confirmation of nature's ability to offer so many substances and elements with potential beneficial effects on our bodies. Advances have also been seen in clinically sensitive areas, including, for example, effects on both normal blood circulation and blood pressure regularity.

These beneficial properties do not always come from afar: in fact, the Mediterranean area is home to genuine protagonists with proven effects on our health, and foremost among these is olive oil, a true elixir 'of health' extracted from olives, indispensable in so many areas, from food to nutraceuticals. One of the main qualities obtained from oil concerns its protective action against the cardiovascular system and specifically due to the presence of 'Oleuropein', a phenolic compound contained in the leaves and fruits of the olive plant, on which a great deal of research has been carried out.

Another precious element of the Mediterranean land, as an exclusive Italian excellence and cultivated mainly in Calabria, is to be found in Bergamot, the green citrus fruit known for its characteristic and eponymous essence, whose juice has an extraordinary concentration of bioflavonoids with antioxidant and protective actions.

What is Recolasi?

Yamamoto® Research Recolasi is a dietary supplement that provides 500 mg bergamot extract and 250 mg olive extract per daily dose.
Recolasi combines the hypolipidaemic and antioxidant action in favour of normal blood circulation and regularity of blood pressure of two extraordinary natural compounds, namely oluropine extracted from the leaves and fruit of the Olive tree and Bergamot juice, whose synergistic action on cholesterolaemia has been clinically confirmed.

Olive tree extract* promotes normal blood circulation and regularity of blood pressure. The Oleuropein contained in Recolasi is represented by Olecol®, a patented, highly water-soluble, standardised Bioactor product, extracted from Olive leaf, with a very high concentration of bioavailable Oleuropine, which has been shown to have a dual mechanism of action in promoting normal blood circulation and regularity of blood pressure.

Bergamot essence contains a high number of antioxidants, and following a recent study published in the International Journal of Cardiology of the Magna Graecia University of Catanzaro, involving 237 patients, it has been shown to be able to lower the levels of 'bad' LDL cholesterol, while increasing those of 'good' HDL cholesterol. Because of this ability, bergamot extract is suitable for reducing cholesterol and triglyceride levels and providing additional protection to the cardiovascular system.
