Acidif® Gel is a medical device, specifically formulated to hydrate, protect and soothe genitalia. It helps restoring and maintain balance in the vaginal ecosystem, reducing risks of developing diseases such as bacterial vaginosis or microbial originated itchiness.
Acidif® Gel is particularly indicated, due to its hydrating and soothing properties, to lesser symptoms such as itching, stinging, copious and/or foul-smelling vaginal discharge.
Applied to a vaginal level helps restoring balance in the friendly bacterial flora, and ensures an optimal level of mucosal hydration while quickly attenuating the discomfort.
Acidif® Gel is available in handy disposable applicators which have to be inserted in the vagina to allow the product distribution. The quantity contained in each applicator represents a single dose of gel. The product is scentless, non greasy and stain free. Eventual residuals from the applicator can be applied with clean fingers directly on the vulva.
What this medicine is for: Ideal to soothe vaginal mucosa in presence of itchiness of any nature, including excessive dryness. Supplement to pharmacological treatment for bacterial vaginosis or vulvovaginitis even of fungal nature, especially in subjects with recurrence.
