LANDGARTEN

You must think outside the box to discover new things' that was the motto of Herbert Stava and Johannes Strobl when they first started to cultivate soya beans in Lower Austria in 1987. Stava's family farm in Bruck an der Leitha, Lower Austria, provided for the best conditions: mild climate, fertile soil and sunny fields sorrounded by unspoiled nature. A garden in its own right, 'Landgarten' was born. The soya plants thrived and prospered and provided the base for the first organic snacks created by Landgarten. Nowadays, this excellent plant is grown on the huge fields of Landgarten and contributes significantly to the success of the company.
