EXTRA OMEGA + is a food supplement rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids Omega 3 EPA and DHA.

The Omega 3 present in the product contribute to lipid metabolism, in particular that of triglycerides. They also promote cardiac well-being and the maintenance of normal cardiovascular function, as well as skin trophism.


DHA then plays an important role on cognitive functions at each age stage and contributes to eye health.


Fish oil is TG obtained by molecular distillation.


Technically, Omega 3 are polyunsaturated fatty acids which, from the chemical point of view, have the characteristic of having a double bond in position 3 (omega 3) or in position 6 (omega 6), of the chain that forms them.
They are technically defined EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid), and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid).
These acids have precursors, that is to say substances that after the introduction into our body are transformed, specifically linoleic acid is the precursor of omega 6 fatty acid, while linolenic acid is the precursor of omega 3 fatty acid .
The omega 3 and 6 are essential fatty acids: this term means that our body is not able to synthesize them, and therefore the introduction through the diet is absolutely fundamental.
