GUARANÀ LIQUID

Guaranà Liquid is a food supplement, suitable for adult athletes, based on guarana, caffeine, magnesium and vitamins. Vitamin B6, vitamin C, pantothenic acid and magnesium contribute to normal energy metabolism and to reduce tiredness and fatigue *. Furthermore, guarana has a tonic action against physical and mental fatigue.

Guarana is obtained from the seeds of Paullinia Capuana, a spontaneous climbing shrub, considered "sacred" by the Indians of the Amazon, used throughout the traditional South American culture, who used its fruits as a sort of elixir of long life, with aphrodisiac properties, protection from malaria, neuralgia, menstrual pain and dysentery. The Guarani Indians of the Amazon used it to increase their strength and physical endurance during hunting.

The seeds of this plant contain guaranine, a substance analogous to caffeine, which promotes the release of adrenaline and noradrenaline, favoring the known stimulating properties that then from the nineteenth century, reached Europe becoming very popular in France, as a tonic drink. stimulant, given by the high concentration of caffeine compared to the coffee beans itself, from 3-8% against about 2%. The caffeine contained in guarana, or rather "guaranine", is then absorbed more gradually by the body and allows you to benefit for a longer time from its energizing effects without particular peaks.

Guarana, together with methylxanthines such as caffeine, theobromine and theophylline, also contains numerous other bioactive substances such as tannins, saponins and polyphenols such as atechins, epicatechins and proanthocyanins. A concentrate of beneficial substances for the body that allow guarana to be attributed its potential tonic, analgesic, aphrodisiac, astringent, cardiotonic, diuretic, gastro-stimulant, antimicrobial activities with known thermogenic qualities that have made it a frequently used food supplement in the modern era.

Today guarana is a supplement with an energizing action, a true tonic-stimulant to increase psychophysical performance in athletes, to improve focus and memory in students or for states of particular fatigue and psychophysical stress, as well as being appreciated for promoting the processes of weight loss and diuresis, for its lipolytic effect and to reduce the sense of hunger.
