'After' by BioTechUSA is a complex and flavored powder formula for post-workout. Contains nutrients useful to the body such as essential amino acids, a complex of carbohydrates with combined glycemic index and buffered creatine monohydrate. WHY DO WE NEED AMINOACIDES?

Amino acids are the building blocks of one of the main macronutrients, proteins, molecules that are involved in all the metabolic activities of our body. The body is able to produce some amino acids that are therefore defined as non-essential while others must be taken with food and are defined as essential. Of all the existing amino acids, only 20 contribute to the formation of proteins. Amino acids are vital for all the metabolic functions of our body, including digestion, liver functions and wound healing. They also help to maintain healthy skin, ligaments, muscles, tendons, hair and nails. They also contribute to hormone production, neurotransmitters and enzymes. Finally they can be a source of energy and can be transformed into carbohydrates and lipids. The foods richest in amino acids are those of animal origin while those of plant origin are considered not complete.

AMBIENT CHAIN RAMIFIED

BCAAs, or branched chain amino acids, are three amino acids: valine, isoleucine and leucine, and they are all important for what concerns muscle growth. Valine is a source of energy for the muscles and has a role in cellular metabolic processes.

DIRECTIONS: Dissolve a portion of powder (2 measuring spoons = 2 tablespoons full) in 300 ml of water. Take immediately after training. On rest days, take during the afternoon. For optimal results we recommend using a shaker!
