Bentonite MED® Face Mask - For beauty, the purifying power of the volcanic mineral bentonite

Many many years ago, a valuable beauty aid with extraordinary powers was created from weathered volcanic ash: the clay mineral bentonite. Its most important component is montmorillonite, which due to its negatively charged surface, has properties to bind harmful substances such as lead, quicksilver, aluminium, ammonium, aflatoxin and histamine and good swelling and water absorption capacities. For thousands of years, bentonite has been used in cosmetics and to stimulate self-healing powers in the form of masks, wraps, pads and compresses. Allantoin is an active substance of the comfrey plant. The Springer Dictionary of Cosmetics describes it as a recommendable and skin-friendly cosmetic substance, which is gentle, regenerating, cell-regenerating and keratolytic. It smoothens chapped and cracked skin and improves its skin moisture-retaining capacity. The desert plant aloe barbadensis is known for having more than 200 healthy ingredients, which, on the skin, have moisturising and softening effects and a beneficial influence on inflammatory processes.
Our bentonite MED face mask is manufactured according to the strict criteria of the natural cosmetics label NATRUE.

Active ingredients: Bentonite, allantoin, aloel.

Recommendation: Apply the mask evenly to the face, neck and décolleté. Do not apply to eyes and mouth. After approx. 10-15 minutes, rinse off with plenty of lukewarm water. Apply 1-3 times a week as needed.
